A delicious Turkey Focaccia Sandwich with layers of savory turkey, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and vibrant vegetables, all nestled in soft, herb-infused focaccia bread.

  • 1 loaf Focaccia Bread
  • 1/4 cup Pesto
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sun-Dried Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces Deli Turkey
  • 2 ounces Prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Red Peppers
  • 4 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 cup Arugula

Instructions

  1. Combine the pesto, mayonnaise, and sun-dried tomatoes in a mixing bowl. Stir until all ingredients meld into a creamy spread.
  2. Take your focaccia loaf and carefully slice it horizontally, creating two equal halves.
  3. Spread the pesto-mayo mixture generously over both halves of the focaccia.
  4. Layer the deli turkey across one half, followed by the prosciutto.
  5. Scatter roasted red peppers across the meats, and tear fresh mozzarella over the top.
  6. Top with fresh basil leaves and arugula, adding crunch and color.
  7. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the fillings, then carefully close the sandwich, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider mixing the pesto-mayo mixture ahead of time. This sandwich can also be toasted in a panini press for a warm, crispy exterior.
