Thai Peanut Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a flavorful and healthy dish that combines tender chicken with a rich peanut sauce, all wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 head of butter lettuce
  • Chopped peanuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned.
  2. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Add the sauce to the cooked chicken and stir until well combined.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions and shredded carrots.
  5. Wash and separate the lettuce leaves.
  6. Spoon the chicken mixture into each lettuce leaf.
  7. Garnish with chopped peanuts and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the chicken mixture.
