Strawberry Pretzel Salad

A delightful dessert salad featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy layer of cream cheese, and fresh strawberries.

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy. Spread this layer over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the strawberries and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Notes

Allow the dessert to chill for optimal flavor. Make it a day ahead for better results.
