“Steak, Shrimp & Fajita Rice Plate: A Flavor Adventure!”

A delicious and vibrant dish featuring grilled steak, shrimp, and fajita vegetables served over a bed of seasoned rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fajita seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced steak and season with fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet, cooking until tender.
  6. Combine the steak back into the skillet with the shrimp and vegetables.
  7. Serve the mixture over cooked rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the fajita mix.
  • Can substitute chicken for steak if desired.
  • Serve with lime wedges for added flavor.
