Spinach and Feta Stuffed Bread: A Delicious Twist!

A delightful bread stuffed with spinach and feta cheese, perfect for a savory snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 loaf of bread (French or Italian)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in feta cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the bread from the center.
  6. Fill the hollowed bread with the spinach and feta mixture.
  7. Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden and crispy.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
