A delightful bowl featuring crispy potatoes, juicy ground beef, and rich toppings that embodies the comfort of a classic burger in a fun, creative style.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 1 lb red potatoes, diced
  • 12 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce or mixed greens
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow or Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • Pickles, for topping
  • Extra lettuce, for toppings
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, ensuring every piece gets a light, flavorful coating. Air fry them for 16–18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat, adding a little olive oil. Toss in the diced onions, and let them cook for about 10–15 minutes until golden.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up, and press into the pan. Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and Cajun seasoning.
  5. Grab bowls and start with crispy potatoes, then add ground beef, caramelized onions, shredded cheese, and drizzle with special sauce. Top with fresh lettuce and desired toppings.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare potatoes and onions a day in advance. Cooking Alternatives: Roast potatoes at 425°F for 30 minutes if no air fryer.
