Sheet Pan Chinese Beef and Broccoli

A delightful Sheet Pan meal featuring tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and sweet bell pepper, all infused with a savory marinade.

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Toss the flank steak in the marinade, coating each piece fully, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Arrange the marinated beef, broccoli florets, and sliced bell pepper on a large sheet pan.
  5. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the vegetables and meat.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the beef is cooked and vegetables are tender.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Marinate the beef a day in advance for deeper flavor. For an air fryer, cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
