Ruth’s Chris Stuffed Chicken

A savory stuffed chicken dish featuring a creamy cheese filling and crispy skin, perfect for any occasion.

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (or Neufchâtel cheese)
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or mild cheddar)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (or fresh minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder (or fresh onion)
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley (or fresh parsley)
  • 1 tsp Paprika (or smoked paprika)
  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts (skin-on)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil & Butter (or just olive oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness of ½ inch.
  3. Make the filling by mixing cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, sharp cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the filling and secure with toothpicks or twine.
  5. Sear the chicken in olive oil and butter for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Rest the chicken for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
