A delightful and creamy twist on traditional pizza, featuring layers of cottage cheese, mozzarella, and your choice of toppings baked to perfection.

  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up while you prepare the ingredients.
  2. Combine the filling: In a large mixing bowl, blend the cottage cheese, eggs, garlic powder, and oregano until well-combined.
  3. Layer the dish: Pour half of the pasta sauce into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread it evenly, and spoon over the cottage cheese mixture. Top with half of your mozzarella cheese.
  4. Customize with toppings: Sprinkle your chosen pizza toppings generously.
  5. Finish with sauce and cheese: Drizzle the remaining pasta sauce over the toppings and finish with the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake to perfection: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes.
  7. Serve: Allow the bake to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

You can prepare the casserole the night before and store it in the fridge before baking. For air fryer instructions, cook at 325°F for about 25 minutes.
