  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
