Peach Pie Cruffins

Delightful Peach Pie Cruffins combine the flakiness of pastry with sweet peach filling, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (thawed)
  • 1 can (15 oz) peach pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease your muffin tin.
  2. Unroll and prepare the puff pastry: Lightly dust a floured surface and roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets.
  3. Spread the peach pie filling evenly over your pastry.
  4. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Cut the pastry into 2-inch strips, and roll each strip into a spiral.
  6. Twist each spiral and place them into the muffin tin.
  7. Whisk together the egg and water, then brush the mixture over each cruffin.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk/cream to prepare the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cruffins and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These cruffins can be prepared in advance and refrigerated before baking. Try using different fruit fillings for variety.
