Lemon Chicken Pasta

A delightful symphony of taste and texture, this Lemon Chicken Pasta is perfect for impressing dinner guests or savoring on a cozy weeknight, blending zesty lemon with creamy richness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper
  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with lemon pepper and salt, thoroughly coating them on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for about 7-8 minutes on each side, until nicely golden and cooked through.
  3. Bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. Combine heavy cream, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese in the same skillet. Stir gently over low to medium heat until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the drained pasta into the creamy sauce, tossing until every strand is suffused with the richness. Slice the rested chicken and arrange it atop the pasta.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu, or try goat cheese in place of Parmesan for a tangy variation.
