Kielbasa Sausage Potato Soup

A hearty and creamy soup featuring smoky kielbasa sausage and tender potatoes, perfect for chilly evenings.

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, stirring until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Toss in the sliced kielbasa, cooking until browned.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and pour in the chicken broth. Raise the heat and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes become tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
