  • 2 ripe California avocados
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are coated thoroughly.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. While the chicken cooks, slice the avocados and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the grilled chicken topped with sliced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
