Jalapeño Poppers

Deliciously baked Jalapeño Poppers filled with a creamy cheese mixture and optionally topped with crispy bacon.

  • 10 Fresh Jalapeños
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  3. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a mixing bowl.
  4. Stuff each jalapeño half generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed jalapeños on a lined baking sheet, cut-side up.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, omit bacon and consider adding extra spices or black beans.
