  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oil: Begin by heating oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Stuff the rings: Fill each onion ring generously with the cheese mixture.
  4. Dredge the rings: Dust each stuffed onion ring in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry to perfection: Carefully place the onion rings into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
