Italian Grinder Salad Sandwich

A gourmet Italian sandwich filled with fresh vegetables, hearty meats, and creamy provolone cheese, drizzled with olive oil and red wine vinegar.

Ingredients

  • Italian bread or sub rolls
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Tomatoes (sliced)
  • Red onions (sliced)
  • Pepperoncini
  • Salami and Ham
  • Provolone cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Red wine vinegar
  • Oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the Italian bread or sub rolls in half.
  2. Layer a generous portion of shredded lettuce.
  3. Artfully arrange the veggies: tomatoes, red onions, and pepperoncini on top of the lettuce.
  4. Add thick slices of salami and ham.
  5. Next, add provolone cheese over the meats.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar.
  7. Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
  8. Top with the other half of the bread and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and avoid overloading the sandwich.
