  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Add the grated ginger and turmeric powder to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the mixture into a cup.
  5. Add honey and lemon juice (if using) and stir well.
  6. Let it cool slightly before drinking.
