  • 1/4 cup Caramelized Onions (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze or Pesto Spread
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Aioli or Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken or Turkey: Begin by seasoning your chicken or turkey with herbs and spices. Grill or pan-sear for about 6-7 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
  2. Caramelize Onion (Optional): In a non-stick skillet, sauté sliced onions over low heat until soft and golden, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Toast Ciabatta: Slice the ciabatta in half lengthwise. Toast the cut sides in a skillet over medium heat using olive oil for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Spread the Sauce: Spread garlic aioli or mayonnaise on both toasted sides, then drizzle balsamic glaze or pesto.
  5. Assemble the Sandwich: Layer arugula, grilled chicken or turkey, roasted bell peppers, and mozzarella or brie on one half. Top with caramelized onions if using.
  6. Close and Serve: Place the other half of ciabatta on top, press down gently, slice into portions, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute grilled portobello mushrooms for meat. Feel free to customize with additional toppings like avocado or crispy bacon.
