Delicious Chicken Ricotta Meatballs in Alfredo Sauce

Tender chicken meatballs blended with creamy ricotta and nestled in a rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • Pasta or zoodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground chicken, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix until everything is well incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs (about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  5. Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes, until they’re golden and cooked through.
  6. Heat the Alfredo sauce in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add the baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Serve the meatballs over pasta or zoodles, topped with extra parsley.

Notes

You can shape the meatballs ahead of time and refrigerate them for up to a day before baking. Also, consider using an air fryer for a quicker meal.
