Cucumber and Dill Pinwheels

Crisp and refreshing, cucumber and dill pinwheels make the perfect appetizer that impresses your guests with vibrant flavors and textures.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 oz dry ranch seasoning packet
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tsp fresh chopped dill
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced thin

Instructions

  1. Begin by finely chopping fresh dill and thinly slicing the cucumber.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with the dry ranch seasoning until smooth.
  3. Lay the tortillas on your cutting board and spread about a quarter of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each.
  4. Sprinkle approximately ½ tablespoon of chopped dill over the cream cheese layer on each tortilla.
  5. Evenly arrange the cucumber slices over the cream cheese and dill.
  6. Starting from one end, roll the tortilla tightly into a log.
  7. Wrap each tortilla log in plastic wrap and place them in the fridge for at least an hour.
  8. When ready to serve, unwrap the logs and cut into six equal portions.
  9. Arrange your beautiful pinwheels flat on a platter and serve.

Notes

Make-ahead strategy: These pinwheels can be prepped a day in advance and stored in the fridge. Customize with additional fillings like bell peppers or smoked salmon.
