Crockpot French Onion Pot Roast Pasta: A Must-Try Delight!

A delicious and hearty dish combining the flavors of French onion soup with tender pot roast and pasta, all cooked in a crockpot for convenience.

  • 2 lbs pot roast
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the pot roast in the crockpot.
  2. Add the sliced onions and sprinkle the French onion soup mix over the top.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the roast and onions.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  6. Shred the pot roast and mix it with the cooked noodles.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and let it melt before serving.
