- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked rotini and broccoli to the skillet, along with the chicken. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
