  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the cream cheese and butter in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, blending well until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg until thoroughly incorporated.
  5. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
