Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu

A luscious Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu combining creamy mascarpone, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and juicy cherries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted cherries, chopped
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Combine the cooled espresso and amaretto in another bowl.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the espresso mixture and lay them in a single layer within your dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the first layer of ladyfingers.
  5. Arrange half of the chopped cherries on top of the mascarpone layer.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cherries.
  7. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, preferably overnight.
  8. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Tiramisu can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It tastes even better after a day or two.
