Buttery Brown Sugar Honey Glazed Carrots

Transform ordinary carrots into a gourmet delight with a luscious glaze of buttery brown sugar and honey.

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the carrot sticks for about 5 minutes until they start to soften, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add brown sugar and honey, stirring vigorously until the carrots are well coated.
  4. Continue cooking on medium-low heat for another 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the glaze thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

For a roasted version, toss the carrots with the glaze ingredients and roast at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes.
