Blueberry Basil Lemonade: Refresh Your Summer Sip!

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- In a blender, combine blueberries, basil, and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove solids.
- Add lemon juice, sugar, and the remaining water to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional basil leaves and blueberries if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a sparkling version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
