Better Than Anything Cake

A decadent chocolate cake soaked in caramel and topped with whipped cream and toffee bits, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare your springform pan by greasing it lightly.
  3. Combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, and water in a mixing bowl as per the package instructions.
  4. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake and allow it to cool.
  6. Once cool, make holes all over the top of the cake using a skewer or fork.
  7. Mix the sweetened condensed milk with caramel sauce in a separate bowl.
  8. Pour this mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes, and allow to absorb flavors for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
  9. Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
  10. Spread the whipped cream across the top of the cake.
  11. Sprinkle toffee bits generously over the whipped cream layer.
  12. Slice your creation and serve it chilled.
