Baked Smashed Potatoes With Garlic & Parmesan Delight!

A delicious and crispy side dish made with smashed potatoes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for any meal.

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Boil the baby potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
  4. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with a fork or potato masher.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the smashed potatoes.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each potato.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
