Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls

Delicious, gooey cheese and crisp-tender broccoli rolled into bite-sized balls—perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam the finely chopped broccoli florets until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Combine broccoli, breadcrumbs, both cheeses, eggs, and flour in a large bowl.
  4. Mix until everything binds together evenly.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring space between them.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown; broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispness.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking, and they freeze well too!
