Autumn Sangria

A vibrant and fruity sangria that captures the essence of fall with seasonal fruits, spices, and a splash of cheer.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 cup vodka (optional)
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 2 pears, chopped
  • 2 oranges, cut into wedges
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 whole star anise
  • 1 cup sparkling water or soda
  • Caramel (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Combine the white wine and vodka in a large pitcher.
  2. Add the sliced apples, chopped pears, and orange wedges.
  3. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and add the star anise.
  4. Gently stir the mixture to mix the flavors.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve over ice and drizzle with caramel if desired.
