  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups diced fresh apples

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  2. Combine the milk and eggs in another bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry mixture using a spatula.
  4. Fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, avoiding overcrowding.
  7. Fry the fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  8. Remove them and drain on paper towels.
  9. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon in a bowl to create the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters before serving.
