Valentine Delicious Cruffins with Cinnamon

Delightful cruffins that combine the flakiness of croissants with the softness of muffins, filled with a sweet cinnamon and sugar mixture.

  • 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and seal any perforations to create a rectangle.
  3. Spread softened butter across the entire surface of the dough.
  4. Sprinkle granulated sugar and ground cinnamon evenly over the butter.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut in half lengthwise.
  6. Coil each half into a spiral shape and place in muffin cups.
  7. Repeat with remaining dough until the muffin tin is filled.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush warm cruffins with melted butter and dust with cinnamon-sugar before serving.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the cinnamon-sugar filling the night before and assemble cruffins in the morning. Customize with add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
