Turkey & Cranberry Sausage Rolls are a delightful festive treat, combining savory turkey sausage with sweet cranberries, all wrapped in flaky pastry.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped cranberries, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture on one end of each pastry rectangle.
  5. Roll the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the turkey mixture.
  • These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
  • Serve with cranberry sauce for dipping.
