- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped cranberries, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture on one end of each pastry rectangle.
- Roll the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the turkey mixture.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
