Tuna Melt Patties

Crispy tuna patties filled with melted cheese and packed with flavor, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained tuna, bread crumbs, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped onion, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, roughly the size of your palm.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden-brown and crispy.
  5. Serve warm, perhaps with a side of chips or salad.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the mixture and refrigerate up to 24 hours before cooking.
