Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  2. Divide and Color: Split the batter into several bowls based on desired colors. Add food coloring or fruit purees to each bowl and fold gently.
  3. Heat the Skillet: Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook Finally: Pour about 1/4 cup of the colored batter onto the skillet. Repeat with remaining colors, creating patterns. Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden brown.
