Teriyaki Ground Turkey Bowl

A savory and sweet dish featuring ground turkey, vibrant vegetables, and fluffy rice, all enveloped in a rich teriyaki sauce.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Cook the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add in the teriyaki sauce, broccoli, and sliced carrots, and cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the turkey and vegetable mixture over a generous portion of cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

Prepare the turkey mixture in advance and store it in the fridge for up to three days. You can also use an air fryer or Instant Pot for alternatives.
