  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F if baking, or heat oil in a pan over medium heat if frying.
  2. Roll out croissant dough on a floured surface and cut into triangles.
  3. Place a small dollop of optional filling at the base of each triangle, then roll up into cruffin shapes.
  4. Place each rolled cruffin into a greased muffin tin upright.
  5. For frying: Lower cruffins into the hot oil, frying until golden brown. For baking: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  6. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for coating.
  7. Once cooked, roll cruffins in cinnamon sugar mixture while still warm.
