Sweet Chili Salmon Bites

Delightful salmon bites with a sweet and spicy glaze, perfect for appetizers or main courses.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 whole Lime, juiced and zested
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes, about one inch each.
  2. Prepare the marinade by whisking together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Marinate the salmon cubes in the marinade, cover, and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of olive oil.
  5. Sear the salmon bites for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle optional sesame seeds or green onions on top before serving.
  7. Mix Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
  8. Serve the warm salmon bites alongside the creamy yogurt dip.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider using an air fryer or roasting the salmon bites.
