“Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake: A Dreamy Dessert Delight!”

A delicious fusion of strawberry shortcake and cheesecake, this dessert is a perfect treat for any occasion.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Let the cheesecake cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  10. Before serving, top with sliced strawberries and drizzle with strawberry jam.

Notes

  • For a firmer cheesecake, refrigerate overnight.
  • Fresh strawberries can be substituted with frozen, but thaw and drain them first.
  • Serve with whipped cream for added richness.
