  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, sugar, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and spread it into a greased baking pan.
  8. Pour the butter mixture over the dough and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
