Spicy Asian Cucumber Salad that Will Ignite Your Taste Buds

A refreshing and spicy salad made with cucumbers and Asian flavors that will awaken your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumbers thinly and place them in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess water.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chili flakes.
  4. Drain the cucumbers and rinse them under cold water.
  5. Add the cucumbers to the dressing and toss to coat.
  6. Stir in chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Let the salad marinate for at least 15 minutes before serving.

  • Adjust the amount of chili flakes to your spice preference.
