Soft Pull-Apart Milk Bread (Very Fluffy) for Perfect Mornings

A delightful and fluffy milk bread that pulls apart easily, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces.
  7. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in a greased baking pan.
  8. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter bread, add more sugar to the dough.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Great for sandwiches or toasting.
