  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then add them to the skillet.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and sauté until they are tender.
  7. Add the spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  9. Add the crumbled bacon and return the chicken to the skillet.
  10. Cover and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

  • For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
