Smashburger Quesadillas

Delicious quesadillas filled with savory beef, melty cheese, and zesty pickles, delivering a crispy and satisfying experience.

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for the pan

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Stir in ketchup, mustard, diced tomatoes, and pickles.
  3. Heat another skillet and lightly spray with cooking spray or oil.
  4. Place one tortilla in the skillet, layer half with the beef mixture, and sprinkle generously with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve hot.
