Salted Caramel Pretzel Cheesecake Squares that Delight!

Deliciously rich and creamy cheesecake squares with a crunchy pretzel crust, topped with salted caramel.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  8. Drizzle salted caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with sea salt.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark caramel sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Can be made a day in advance for best results.
