Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake

A showstopping dessert combining rich cheesecake with the classic flavors of red velvet, topped with a delicious Oreo crust.

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup red velvet cake mix
  • Oreo cookies for topping
  • Red velvet crumbs for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of your springform pan.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  6. Introduce the eggs one at a time, mixing gently after each addition.
  7. Mix in the sour cream and red velvet cake mix until well incorporated.
  8. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center jiggles slightly.
  10. Let the cheesecake cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Remove from the springform pan and decorate with Oreo cookies and red velvet crumbs.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For even better flavor, prepare the cheesecake one day in advance. It can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.
