Pineapple BBQ Pork Skewers

Juicy pork tenderloin chunks mingled with sweet, caramelized pineapple pieces create a vibrant and flavorful dish perfect for summer grilling.

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Combine in a large bowl the pork, pineapple, red onion, and green bell pepper.
  3. Prepare the marinade by whisking together BBQ sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Coat the pork and veggie mixture with the BBQ sauce marinade.
  5. Assemble the skewers by threading the pork and vegetables alternately.
  6. Grill the skewers for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  7. Brush with any remaining BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare skewers a few hours in advance and refrigerate to enhance flavor. For cooking indoors, use an oven or air fryer as alternatives.
