Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles: A Delicious Treat You’ll Love!

Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles are a delightful no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreos, creamy peanut butter, and coated in chocolate. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, peanut butter, and softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. While the truffles are freezing, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. If desired, add coconut oil to thin the chocolate.
  6. Once the truffles are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  7. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet and let them set until the chocolate hardens.
  8. Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, you can sprinkle crushed Oreos on top of the chocolate before it sets.
  • These truffles can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Feel free to use dark or white chocolate for coating instead of milk chocolate.
