Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Scones: Irresistibly Delicious!

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  5. Fold in the peanut butter and chocolate chips.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Shape the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
  8. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • These scones can be frozen before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
